Rolls-Royce Marine
Extra-strong cylindrical gears were supplied for remotely operated underwater-vessel winches. Rolls-Royce recognized Niebuhr as a preferred supplier in 2015.
Vestas Wind Systems
Yaw-system gear supply began in 1979 and included rings up to 5 m for nacelle factories. The Tianjin factory opened in 2010 to support international supply.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy
Yaw-system gears supplied Siemens nacelle factories worldwide, with the Tianjin operation supporting customer proximity after opening in 2010.
SISU Axles
SISU outsourced transmission-gear production to Niebuhr, which bought gear-hobbing machines and relocated them from Finland to Denmark. The partnership supports gears for heavy-duty vehicle axles and differentials.
Haarup
Cylindrical gears, gear shafts and drives support Haarup’s concrete-mixer gearboxes. Joint development of a newer gearbox focused on reducing noise and improving efficiency.
Engcon
In early 2016, Niebuhr was selected as the sole supplier of worms and worm wheels for Engcon’s tiltrotator range.
MHI Vestas Offshore Wind
An undated brochure describes collaboration with MHI Vestas Offshore Wind on the V164 yaw system, including materials, hardening, gear principles and tolerance requirements, plus two additional complex components. The historical customer name is preserved; no current ownership or world-largest claim is made.

The Danish operation in Ikast handles development, production preparation and manufacture across the gear range; a separate Tianjin subsidiary also produces large gears. Individual units and industrial series are available, with automated Process Gears production for larger volumes, technical collaboration and stockholding for scheduled supply.
