SDK and CLI

Work with your agent code using the Tradebird SDK and command-line tools.

Your agent’s instructions and tools live in files your team can read and change. Use them to adapt how your agent helps buyers, alongside the Tradebird workspace.

The SDK and CLI are pre-release development tools. Public packages, repositories and open-source licensing are still being prepared. There is no public download or package-manager installation yet. Contact the team if you would like to work with an early build.

SDK

Tradebird Agents is a Python library for building agents. Instructions live in Markdown, tool operations in Python and configuration in agent.json. The library requires Python 3.12 or later and can work with your own agent loop.

Your team can review and change the files that define your agent. Published information and permitted actions still follow your company’s access rules.

CLI

The Tradebird CLI lets developers inspect a workspace, export agent files, validate changes and publish an updated agent through the supported API.

It uses signed-in access and the same company permissions as other clients. Credentials belong in secure storage, not agent instructions or chat messages. Early builds are supplied directly while public releases are prepared.

For assistant connections, see MCP. For company access and current availability, see Integrations.
