Separate medical facilities combine staged cleaning and an ISO Class 5 cleanroom for components used in hospital and laboratory equipment, surgical instruments, and dental and orthopaedic implants. Applications include plasma-surgery components and dental-autoclave component systems. Founded in 1994, NFI joined AKJ Industri in 2024.
Citizen sliding-head machines handle several bar sizes. Tornos Micro8 equipment handles turning diameters up to 8 mm and working lengths up to 20 mm; the small-component process supports complex parts with tolerances below 5 µm.
