Jydsk Aluminium Industri A/SMørupvej 9, 7400 Herning, DenmarkJAI develops and supplies aluminium gravity die-cast components from Herning, combining design support, prototypes, sand cores, stationary and tilt casting with machining, testing, finishing and assembly. Its principal alloy programme lists AlSi7Mg EN AC-42100, AlSi10Mg EN AC-43000 and AlSi12 EN AC-44100.
Applications include motorcycle chassis components, marine drive and engine parts, pump housings, high-voltage equipment components, battery housings, truck cooling parts and industrial robot components. Finished assemblies and customer-specific packaging can be supplied to production lines. Tool manufacture is undertaken with selected toolmakers; cooperation with Unnaryd Modell supports sand-cast prototypes and ramp-up before gravity-cast series. Component supply includes SPC, optical scanning, 3D metrology, spectral and tensile checks, and process and series logging.
Project feasibility depends on alloy, geometry, cores, tolerances, finish, testing and annual demand. Capacity descriptions differ by source: the offer page gives approximately 2–125 kg and up to 1.4 × 1.4 × 1.4 m, other company copy gives 2–100 kg, and the brochure describes parts above 125 kg. These do not establish one consistent maximum weight.
