Cylinder-head work includes dismantling, cleaning, pressure testing, valve and seat grinding, and sealing-surface machining. Connecting rods are crack-tested, measured, rebushed and machined as needed. Pistons are cleaned and inspected, including ring grooves and cracks. Liner honing and grinding covers diameters of 170–650 mm; fuel-injection pumps and valves can be calibrated at pressures up to 1,500 bar. Pumps and coolers are also serviced.
