Welltec developed and tested a custom locating bit, then used Well Miller CVF from an RLWI vessel to mill an Incoloy 925 gate valve and recover the coupon. Milling took 17 hours and enabled Christmas-tree replacement.
Three anonymous Central/East Asian operations used Saturn casing expansion to densify existing cement. One gas injector fell from 92 bar to zero SCP, maintained for two years, allowing a planned sidetrack to be cancelled; other wells had different residual pressures.
A Springblade patch sealed tubing-to-annulus communication below a safety valve. The repair passed a 180-bar test with 4.62 mm measured ID reduction, and production restarted within 24 hours.
Well Cleaner PST recovered more than two tons of proppant over 43 runs, switching from High Flow to Large Drawdown. This enabled leak verification and plug setting; the planned coiled-tubing operation was cancelled.
Three planned runs used imaging, Wellgrab CLAW, an overshot and Well Stroker to recover curled cable, a stuck plug and BHA. Production resumed after a four-month shutdown.

Well Tractor CVT conveyed a fibre-optic rod into a 13,100-ft lateral of a 21,000-ft measured-depth gas well. Monitoring continued for three days; more than four hours were saved against alternative conveyance.
TotalEnergies
Welltec and Axter participated in a TotalEnergies-initiated test at Ullrigg, co-financed through the NORCE P&A programme. One run scanned, milled, cut and retrieved a control line; a second placed two bridging sleeves. Operational time was under 12 hours. This was a test, not completed field abandonment.
Equinor
Forty DAR assemblies were installed on 9 April 2026 across 12 compartments in a 1500 m horizontal open-hole interval at Johan Castberg. This was the start of a field trial.
A 720-hour semi-stagnant test simulated formation-water flowback during long-term shut-in, using 50 vol% brine at downhole pressure and temperature. Impurities were replenished every 48 hours, with crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, pH and oxygen monitored.
