Fixturing, weld sequence and heat input are planned to control distortion, with WPS/PQR and traceability as applicable. Typical construction-dependent angle ±0.5 degrees and position/length ±0.5–1.0 mm. Welders are qualified to EN ISO 9606. The EN ISO 3834-2 certificate covers steel and aluminium welding in its specified material groups and processes 135, 136 and 141.
