Merck Serono
Delivered a group-engineered BasiQX XTV assembly and packaging line for Merck Serono in Bari, designed for 70 devices/min across three pens with 12 doses. The line monitors eight key parameters and combines inline inspection and local rejects with labelling, tray handling and robotic palletizing. Downstream packaging contributions span group engineering operations.
Built a BasiQX XTV line for two nasal-spray products for an American contract manufacturer, at a project rate of 200 pieces/min. The line includes micro-vial chip/crack inspection, force-controlled insertion, actuator pull testing, laser-labelled and graded output and dual downstream outfeed. This is a group engineering project.
Built an expandable BasiQX XTV line for two pen doses at 50 pieces/min for an international pharmaceutical company’s European site. Robotic and pick-and-place modules work with sensors, vision, custom labels, tray-layout design, product tracking and batch reports. This is a group engineering project.

Stevanato Group’s Silkeborg engineering business, formerly SVM Automatik, supplies pharmaceutical assembly and packaging automation. Its offering includes configurable benchtop units, pilot equipment and linear assembly platforms for subassembly and final assembly of pens, auto-injectors, nasal sprays, inhalers and other medical devices.
