Skamlingvejen 146, 6093 Sjølund, DenmarkSjølund manufactures customer-specified curved steel and aluminium profiles for architecture, energy, industry and transport. Its Danish manufacturing site combines CNC and manual profile bending with five-axis milling, aluminium heat treatment, welding and project documentation.
Customers can select individual stages or a coordinated process through Sjolund Circle, including feasibility advice, development, production, quality inspection, marking, packing and delivery. The business began as Carl Jensen’s village smithy in 1936 and took the name Maskinfabrikken Sjølund A/S in 1992.
International production includes a Chinese subsidiary and a Middle Eastern manufacturing partnership established during 2024/25. The Danish site’s process-specific certificates do not extend automatically to those operations.
Convection ovens process aluminium profiles up to 8 m long, with internal tensile testing for quality control. Architectural and railcar-pillar production includes forming in T4 condition followed by T6 artificial ageing.
