A Trumpf 500R turret punch processes sheets up to 1500 × 5000 mm. Maximum thicknesses are 6 mm mild steel, 4 mm galvanised sheet, 4 mm stainless steel and 6 mm aluminium. Punching is also used on alu-zinc and electro-zinc coated sheets.
