Structural and weathering steel plates

Carbon, fine-grain and weathering plate for fabricated structures, bridges and infrastructure.

• Delivery conditions include as rolled, normalised, normalising rolled and thermomechanically rolled.
• Conflicting dimensional statements: 2026 wind-series maxima are 256 mm thick, 4,000 mm wide, 28 m long and 30 tonnes; the undated mill website gives 5–220 mm thickness and length above 20 m. Available combinations are grade-specific.

• Historical EN 1090 thermal-cutting approval

  Nordcert 1505-CPR-CS1184 covers EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 thermal cutting, material groups 1, 2 and 3, execution classes EXC1 to EXC4 and CE methods 1 and 3a. It expressly excludes welding. Valid 4 September 2019 to 3 September 2024; expired.

  AMMM00000X6 revision 8 covers normal-, high- and extra-high-strength rolled plate and Z-grade steels subject to the four-page particulars. Issued 14 January 2021; expired 31 August 2022.

• Historical Bureau Veritas hull-plate approvals

  The seven-page bundle contains higher-strength, normal-strength and thermomechanically rolled hull-plate scopes with grade and thickness conditions. Expiry dates are 20 December 2023, 21 November 2023 and 29 November 2021 respectively. These are historical approvals.

• Historical ABS steel-mill approval extension

  STML-T1743816-4, dated 5 June 2019, extends specified rolled-plate grade, thickness and delivery-condition approvals. It calls for renewal on a five-year cycle; no current renewal is included in the reviewed document.
