GE Renewable Energy
The 2020 Haliade-X programme involved 107 m blades manufactured in Cherbourg, design documentation and testing with WTTC and ORE Catapult. Kolding staff contributed transport engineering to the related-party GE Renewable Energy project.
Two thermoplastic-resin blade demonstrators were manufactured for the ZEBRA consortium, including one with a recycled-resin structural element. The October 2024 account assigns materials, recycling and lifecycle analysis to project partners.
