AG Logistics Services
For the Ede distribution centre opened in 2021, Körber supplied Layer Picker Gantry, a 672-position buffer with one crane, two transfer cars, conveyors, wrapping/dewrapping and banding, integrated with the WMS. Sixty pallet positions sit under the gantry; the overall warehouse’s 47500 positions are a separate site figure. The facility serves AG Logistics’ client Kraft Heinz.
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners
Two Layer Picker heads, three transfer cars, conveying and automatic strapping support mixed-layer orders. The documented application manages 110 SKUs with 144 buffer positions, handles 150 layers/hour and has a stated maximum of 200 cycles/hour. Its 24/5 hotline and twice-yearly maintenance are customer-specific arrangements.
Kuehne + Nagel
Two additional Flex-R systems followed earlier installations in Raamsdonksveer and Veghel. Eight-position robots automate transfer of food-product layers between pallets. The document’s 220 pallets/hour describes the distribution centre, not a robot cycle rate.
Wincanton / Kraft Heinz
Wincanton operated the distribution centre for Kraft Heinz. Danish product trials in 2013 and factory acceptance tests in late 2014 preceded April 2015 go-live of a Flex-R and conveyors, specified up to 180 layers/hour. The 90% untouched-dispatch figure was a target; 12000 pallets/week is whole-centre throughput.
Netto
Three Hoist systems originally supplied through Daifuku in 2004 received upgrades in 2009 and 2013, including heads, stripper units and descramblers. Commissioning took place across three weekends; the upgraded operation reduced the normal workweek from six to five days while increasing capacity.
Lineage
Layer Picker operation at -18°C automates mixed-SKU pallet building in the cold store.
AB InBev
Dense automated storage to improve use of vertical warehouse space.
Coldservice
Multi-depth frozen storage with freestanding high-bay racking.
Luís Simões
Automated distribution-centre integration for an unnamed multinational Swiss customer served by logistics operator Luís Simões.
Schaeffler
Integrated material flow, systems and components to support goods availability and order completion.
Developed a specialized gripper to solve a whisky producer’s bottle-depalletizing problem.
Körber Supply Chain DK A/S in Arden is the group’s global Layer Picker competence centre and a Nordic contact for warehouse-system integration. Its supply scope combines layer picking and depalletizing equipment with downstream singulation, conveyors, storage interfaces, controls and customer-specific system engineering. Buyers and integrators can test their own packaging in Denmark and source a complete subsystem or integrated warehouse solution. Arden also provides access to the regional field, remote, resident, spare-parts and modernization service portfolio. The project portfolio includes Körber group deliveries.
