For demanding outdoor aluminium applications, Indulak offers a C5 coating system using pre-anodising by HAI in Horsens. Already-anodised components are a separate service with explicit appearance and warranty limitations. GSB AL 631-5 Master approval covers the Them aluminium-coating business through 31 July 2027.
Rust and scale can be removed with corundum blasting or shot blasting. The stated sandblast preparation is Sa 2.5 to ISO 8501-1 with 50–75 µm roughness under ISO 8503-1. Alkaline cleaning at 60 °C and Oxsilan treatment precede coating. Scope here is indoor use.
