Beveloid gears up to 1000 mm diameter and module 10, with design and manufacture available.

Special tooth profiles

Pressure angles 15–33 degrees; CP/DP and protuberance/root-rounding profiles; DIN 5480/5482/3972, SMS 1835, ANSI B92, BS 3550, NF E22-141, JIS D2001 listed.

Printing-gear range

Module 0.9 upward; typical precision DIN 3962 class 4/5 or secondary hobbed class 7/8, depending on the application.

Integrated inspection and order documents

Gear involute, flank, pitch and runout checks; 3D geometry, surface roughness and agreed crack checks. Material, heat-treatment and project-specific class documents accompany orders as agreed.

ISO 9001 certificate cycle

DNV certificate issued 4 September 2026, with validity from 5 October 2026 to 4 October 2029; the linked document covers the upcoming cycle.

Operating and legal-name history

Business roots 1942; gear production began 1964; Hero Tandhjul A/S established 1989; renamed Hero Gears A/S in December 2010. Historical milling-machine production is not a current offering.
