Pantervej 20, 7700 Thisted, DenmarkDansk Anodiserings Industri A/S (DAI) treats aluminium components in Thisted. Its offering spans conventional and hard anodising, masking, sealing, colouring, chemical polishing and E-CLPS treatment. Process and alloy choices affect dimensions, appearance and corrosion performance.
DAI also offers paid coating-thickness, salt-spray and alloy-composition testing, and assembly of anodised parts at its Falkevej facility. Mechanical pretreatment is available only to a limited extent. Food-contact surface treatment is also available.
Hard anodising to MIL-PRF-8625F is suitable for wear-intensive parts and aggressive environments, including offshore applications. Sealing must be specified: it improves corrosion resistance but reduces wear performance. Hard anodising is less suitable for decorative colouring other than black.
