Kanalen 1, 6700 Esbjerg, DenmarkDanGard A/S provides factory surface treatment of steel structures and components. Its work covers washing and masking, abrasive and wheel blasting, zinc-based metallizing, industrial wet painting and passive fire-protection coatings. Applications include wind turbine components, steel chimneys, offshore structures and building steelwork.
The Danish business was formed in 2020 from the factory activities of Dancoat and Gardit. The contact network includes six Danish production locations. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates cover the five listed annex sites; Rødekro, the headquarters and administration addresses, and the separate German company are outside those schedules. Coating methods, systems and documentation are agreed against the customer’s specification.
Steel-grit blasting removes rust, mill scale and discolouration from steel structures and components. Applications include turbine parts and towers, stairs, railings, gas tanks, machine parts and containers. Surface preparation is specified using ISO 8501-1 cleanliness grades for the subsequent coating system.
